Sure, there are fast-paced challenging races on tracks and great
vehicles to choose from, but besides the great 3D graphics there’s
another level of fun unique to DESTRUCTION DERBY 64, and that’s the
crashes. With such crash-inducing tracks as the Figure Eight or the
traditional looped track with the unusual extra of having cars racing
both directions at the same time, the real fun is in the title of this
smashing game: demolition! 3DO has included terrific sound effects and
realistic damage like denting, breaking glass, and engine damage, so
that virtual high-speed crashing becomes excellent fun. There are
Demolition Races and Arena Battles to choose from in a quest for the
best, and each race requires flying finishes to gain points. There is
also the safe Arcade mode that you can use as a practice arena.
DESTRUCTION DERBY 64 offers several multiplayer modes, like Deathmatch,
a tough arena battle, Bomb Tag, and a vehicular version of hot potato.Minimum Requirements:
-Processor: P200MMX (Pentium II 450 or better recommended).
-RAM: 64 MB (128 MB or more is recommended)
-Graphics Card: Support native to
-3D acceleration (works with almost all the plates I know)
-OS: Windows 9x or higher
-DirectX on the 7th or higher, with support Direct3DLatest DirectX 9.25 (End-User Runtimes November 2008)
